Barrow-in-Furness Town Hall Collection

Heavily carved oak hall stand. The rectangular mirror is above a glove drawer and it has an eight division umbrella stand. The whole is carved with grotesques, gargoyles, fruit and masks. It was carved by W.S. Whitworth (Chief Engineer to the Furness Railway Company). See also TH.0177.
