Painting, acrylic on canvas by Tom Murphy. This painting was commissioned in 2007 to celebrate the life of Claire Savage (née Mason) and shows a variety of areas in Barrow that Claire worked on or that had personal significance for her. Claire Savage worked at the Town Hall and died suddenly. The painting depicts: Piel and Roa Islands, St Mary's Church, Jubilee Bridge and boat race, the Town Hall clock tower, the old firestation, Biggar Bank, Earnse Bay and Sandy Gap, the Round House and Walney School.
