Green Space Opening

23rd February 2020  11:00 AM  –  03:30 PM

Come and help us celebrate our new Green Space at The Dock Museum, at our fun, free and environmentally friendly event.

Our small but perfectly formed landscaped area has been made possible thanks to the generous support of FCC Communities Foundation and Barrow Borough Council, and we hope it will become a haven for wildlife, and a peaceful and pleasant place for our visitors to enjoy the spectacular views.

The official opening takes place at 11.30am by Helen Wall, champion of Barrow's Beautiful Places, and we will be celebrating between 11am and 3.30pm.   Gary Bridgens will be entertaining us throughout the day, and children are welcome to join in the pop-in free crafting workshops with Karen Hall, where they will be able to use recycled materials to make their own masterpieces.

Under 8's must be accompanied by an adult for the craft workshops
