Troubadour Tales

10th August 2019  11:00 AM  –  04:00 PM

'A Write Bunch' is a collective of Furness-based writers who meet regularly to share stories and ideas. Over this time the group have held regular and well-received presentations, showcasing work in a wide range of genres.

They count journalists and published authors among their past and present ranks.

All their previous events have been library-based but now the group is venturing further afield and on Saturday 10th August 2019, between 11am and 4pm, they will make their first appearance at The Dock Museum in Barrow with Troubadours' Tales.

In the spirit of the medieval troubadour, individual members of 'A Write Bunch' will stroll about the venue offering their stories to the audience. As contemporary Troubadours these stories will reflect modern life and range in length from fifteen seconds to four minutes.  As well as prose, shanties and poetry will be performed.

'A Write Bunch' are Gwenda Walker, Eddy Rafter, Jasmin Vaughan, Pip West and Joan Carroll.
